Today i got started on a detail of the most expensive car i will probably ever touch. It is a Origional all aluminum 1955 Porsche 550 spyder. I was just appraised for a hair under 2 million. I did not get to do the paint correction on the car (the owner of the shop did the buffing). I did however detail the motor and tomorrow i will finish the undercarriage and suspension. This thread is not really about the detail but more about this neat little car. It is all aluminum and is a museum car (this is not a reproduction car). We are getting it ready for a Porsche event this weekend. The car weighs absolutely nothing. Also the Ford GT in the pictures came in covered head to toe with Gumball 3000 stickers (sorry didnt get any before shots). We took all the stickers off to prep it for detailing. On to the pictures Taped up ready to go Interior Motor (I had cleaned the carb closest in the picture before i took this picture, which is why the far one is a different color) One more shot that came out good
