here are some after pics of the rather novice work i did on my own DD
correction was done using Scholl S17 on wool and 3m perfectIt polishing pads
then the paint was refined with Scholl s40 on LC grey CCS finishing pad
LSP was 2 coats of 845 (shout out to 911fanatic and Gianni)

this is the best i can do with the hood the hood was a bad respray, and there is a sign of clear coat failure i guess

Mate, that looks fantastic, well done. I see you have German plates, where in Germany are you from?

thanks P1et, still need to work on my cleaning skills though, i dunno why, but i think im still using too much s17 for it to leave marks here and there like that. or maybe my waffled 3m polishing pad is causing the polish to do that?

btw if i have a friend who asked me for an advice to start detailing his car, products, pads, etc, where should i put this question in the forum? "detailing products" section? or "polishing n compounding" section? or even detailing school coz i figure this question would help alot of nubies like me n my mate.

ps: r u German p1et? no those are fake German plates, the merc guys over here like to wear that on their cars just to show the car's pedigree, the bimmer guys does it too. and that also explains the parking meter hanging on the windshield

thanks 911fanatic, o i cant believe this, might sound corny, but, for me actually talkin to 911fanatic is like talkin to tiger woods if ur a golfer, or schumacher if ure an f1 fan, haha, seriously.. i learnt so much from ur posts, without u and other guys over here (like JLsdetailin, FMINUS) i wouldnt know what the hel scholl concepts nor collinite 845 is

Very nice Bob. I was trying to figure out your location due to similarities I noticed in the background to Thailand but now I Know. Again, nice work!
