Do you use Menzerna 87 or 85 for jeweling/finishing?

Hmm.... on the autogeek website it claims that 87 has less cut, maybe it would finish off better?

In my experience the ceramic line may cut a little more but finish down better. Like SIP vs IP so I would imagine 85rd would be the same? Maybe 85rd has a little more cut than 87mc but finishes down better than 87mc.

P085RD is my favorite polish for finishing and jeweling. Never tried 87.

I have used both recently with the same red ccs finishing pad. IMHO 87mc is a finer polish and works wetter than 85rd. 87mc has less cut than 85 because its meant more for older paints as I was told by members of this forums actually when I asked the same question. 85rd has a little more cut but is still a very fine polish, I would use it on harder cc's which need more bite to finish out properly. I couldnt really tell a difference in the final finish between the two.

PO87MF/MC is a great product and so is85RD, It's a chocolate coloured polish and is very wet/oily and goes on like butter
I use it after 85RD and by hand. the clarity, wetness, depth and colour shade improvement is amazing

Like most of you I like to try different waxes and sealants. To get the true results of a certain wax or sealant I like to start with a clean slate. I normally just use a paint cleaner before sealing/waxing, but there are times when I discover some minor marring and I want to use a polish with the least amout of cut. 87mc fits that need perfectly.
