Foam gun question

I just got this for gun how far doe's this gold piece suppose to screw in? I didn't want to strip the threads.

 

im no expert, but hand tight I would guess.

 

Agree. Hand tight and evaluate once you have some water pressure flowing through. If its spraying out all over you, give her some twisting.

Sorry should've said I did hand tighten but it leaked water. So I didn't want to tighten to much just wondered if anyone has the same one.

 

I would wrap some teflon tape around the thread so it doesn't leak.

 

Ya good Idea plumbers tape.
