What product or products do you use with your foam cannon?

I'm looking at getting a PW and foam cannon within the next week or so. I'm looking to order some foam cannon products by mid week at least.

Basically most soap that has a high viscosity and is cheap makes for a good foamer.

Poorboy's Super Slick & Suds, Lusso Auto Bathe, P21S Bodywork Conditioner, Meguiars Hyper-Wash(really good price ratio on this one) and ValetPRO Orange Pre-Wash, but I don't think the last one is available in the states, although it is good.Though I actually like the Orange Pre-Wash more through a pump sprayer; it'll release more dirt, flies and grime, still without stripping the protection.

    Kind regards,

Besides the product listed above this post, consider trying out Meguiars Shampoo Plus. It is fairly inexpensive ($16 a gallon) but it foams up very well and clings to the paint. Another option is Megs Hyper Wash. Lusso Auto Bathe is very nice soap but I feel it is too expensive to be wasted in a foam cannon...
    Hope this helps...

What amount are you putting in the soap container. All soap or a ratio of soap and water?

    Dear Josh & Friends

I use either Detailer's Pro Series Xtreme Foam Formula or Optimum Car Wash in an MTM Hydro one-liter foamer attached to my Cleanforce 1800HD (1800psi/1.6gpm) washer. I use two ounces of soap and fill the rest of the bottle with water. Both soaps work well, but Optimum is the clear winner. Both soaps make great foam.

Lol I usually put 5-6 ounces of soap into my foam cannon bottle. As others have said, soap is inexpensive and I like my shaving cream consistency.
