This machine is AWESOME, much much more flow than my old Karcher 1750. Yes its quite more than the Karcher, but its also quite the machine. It comes with a much heavy duty sprayer/hose than the Karcher and it cleans much much better. Its worth the pricetag IMO

I've been thinking of getting one, but I've read that it requires a lot of amps and I am not sure if my breakers can support it.

All it requires is a 20amp breaker....the common 15amp would more than likely even hold it

Just checked and I have several outlets with breakers of at least 20amps that would support it. Just wondering though, you can get a John Deere Gas Pressure Washer with adjustable 3000 PSI and 2.8 GPM for the same price 3000 PSI /2.8 GPM Pressure Washer What do you guys think, which one would be a better buy? Obviously the John Deere would be more versatile around the house because of the high PSI, but I am also interested in quality and as little noise as possible.

If all you're going to use it for is car washing, and don't mind the pricetag, get the Cam Spray. If you need a PW with some serious cleaning units, get the JD. Everyone's opinion I got from this board has told me that any PW with a Honda engine is quality...but don't expect little noise from a gas engined PW.

I have that same pressure washer and it's very nice! It's kinda load but it's well worth the money. Get one!!

Which one do you have the JD?

The gas pressure washer is a bit of overkill (I started with one) and it is NOISY. I never used mine without wearing my earplugs and I'm sure the neighbors loved it.

If you want to get back at your neighbors for not being able to control their dog's incessant barking, get the JD. I need to anonymously send some Cesar Milan Dog Whisperer vids to a couple houses near me...:fs:

The noise is what concerns me the most.

That is the sole reason I went and bought an electric. I have a guy that wants to buy my gas pw and if I had sold it to him before I bought the karcher I would have taken the money and just bought one of these camspray 1500. Oh well just my luck one day late!

The JD! If your concerned about the noise then don't get the JD.

I have the JD, and it doesn't seem to me to be any noisier than a gas lawn mower.

I've been drooling over that CamSpray for over a year, but I don't have a 20 amp breaker or the wiring to support it.

Very nice machine, man, I bet you're gonna love it. Cam Spray seems to be very well known for their high quality.

If only I had the money! Also, the CR Spotless is in line before this baby, hehe. Guess I'll just have to wait for when I have the money.

Darn, it just went up like $75. I think it used to be $699. So I missed 18% off sale and the cheaper price. [IMG]

i would make sure your breakers are load rated for more than 20amps. at start up most washers use twice as many amps. i tried one the other day at the shop and the 20 amp breaker wouldnt support it.

More than 20 amps? I thought a 20 amp breaker was enough for the camspray.:shead:
