It is not a hot shoe issue but an electronics compatibility problem I was wondering about. I was told there is a difference in flashes made for digital cameras but have no details
yes that is correct...the electrical can actually mess up the camera flash system or the flash. I wouldn't take the risk of using it...check out a 430ex or something...they are pretty cheap now
