Well, not exactly the first time, but first time doing an entire vehicle with it.
I will say that I am VERY impressed with it. Took out 90ish percent of the swirls with a PC and 5.5 orange LC pad. Only complaint I have is the dusting. Other than that, I recommend it and will from now on keep it in my detailing van. I was hesitant on purchasing it, as I an frugal, and wasn't sure I wanted to spend $40 on a polish I wasn't familiar with. But Dust 2 Glory made me do it....... Dang peer pressure.....:drinking2:

Regular Intensive Polish is pretty bad for the dusting problem as well.

I have a theory on this actually. So far, every Menzerna polish I've used, if it [the polish, not the car] was white, it dusted a lot. If it was that sort of purple-ish gray, it doesn't dust much at all.

If I'm doing a car using Menz. IP, I tape the bejesus out of it. If I don't - and I've only done that once - it'll leave me in for hours cleaning dust out of every little nook and cranny on the car.

Yeah, they both dust like a mofo. PowerGloss does the same thing. Their Power Finish 203 dusts a lot less, but it's still there. I've just gotten in the habit of doing a rinse-down on the car after polishing and before applying LSP. I make sure to spray the hell out of the nooks and crannies, and this usually does the trick. It only takes about 10-15 minutes to do this at most.

Dusting you get depends on the paint
My solution to the dusting is to give the pad a small spritz of parrafin oil before I start and after every 2 to 3 sections are polished

SIP has more cut and better gloss than 91L
I find that Lake country pads and flexipads work better with menzerna than edge pads

How I keep dusting to a minimal is..

    1. spritz your pad
    2. apply the polish to the pad
    3. before turning the PC on spread the polish on the paint in your desired area
    4. turn the PC onto speed 3 and do about 2 quick passes to break the polish down a little more
    5. polish away

    It helps!

I only use Power Gloss, SIP and 85RD right now. I'm still experimenting with Power Finish but can say that SIP and 85RD when used with LC CCS pads produce very little or no dust. I rarely run my polisher at more than 1300 rpm. If I go higher than that , I find the polish dries up quickly and gets dusty. Just my experience.

I've been meaning to buy Menzerna SIP but never got the chance to.....wish I could try it out before putting down 40 bucks for the entire thing.

One thing I tell you, Chris, you get what you pay for. It really comes down to Mezerna polishes - SIP, PO106FF, PO85RD really rock! They are pricey, but the results are stunning! Other nice polishes I really like is Optimum. Pinnacle XMT/Poorboy's SSR are OK, but with Menzerna here (also Wolfgang 3.0) I'd rather stick with the best!

I have been using power finish with CCS pads and it does not seem to produce much dust and I'm getting good results on paint not requiring major work. I do wash the car down again before applying wax but that;s just my thing
