Well, I have been detailing my own and families cars for years now and I have collected some pretty good stuff and have learned a lot from detailing bliss in the past couple of years. I have done a few light polish jobs too but My primary focus is on car washing and waxing. NO ADVERTISING So here is my first post. It is an Acura TSX driven by my sister. She doesnt really take good care of her car and she told me that she had not washed it in more than 5 months. I told her I would take it under my care and give it a thorough wash and wax it. She also wanted me to put on her Acura TL Type-S rims on her car so that she can show them off! so here it is. the before and after. Started off with a simple hose down with water Followed by a foam bath consisting of Adams APC and Adams Car wash Shampoo using a Gilmour II Foam gun. A handwash using the two bucket wash method and an Uber wash Mitt and Uber Boars Head brush. The fender wells were spritzed and cleaned with Adams APC and then dressed with Meguiars Tire dressing. I cleaned the TL Type S wheels with Sonax Full Effect wheel cleaner and then mounted them on the car. The car was wiped and dried using Uber Waffle weave towels. I then gave it a round of wipe down with off the shelf Meg's Instant Detailer. Nanoskin autoscrub pad and glide were used instead of clay bar using my 6 in GG I used Lusso Oro Premium Carnauba Wax to give the car its shine. Hope you enjoy it Let me know what you guys think of it.
I forgot to mention. Nanoskin autoscrub and Glide using my 6 Inch GG. I did not polish this vehicle. Just wash, autoscrub and wax
I'd like to put those rims on my TSX. As far as the work done, it looked like the exhaust tips could have used a little more loving. Maybe do some research on Iron X or Iron Cut to help out for future details.
looks good. I would highly recommend polishing a car after using nano scrub, especially on a darker color paint due to the fact that the paint will most likely have swirl marks after auto scrub. Also if your going to call yourself high end detailing maybe work atleast a 1 step polish into your routine
