    Hey Everyone,

First Show and Shine post so if I miss anything please feel free to ask. Right off the bat I have to give credit to everyone who does such great, detailed write-ups. I do take pictures daily but most days I'm so crunched for time that I usually miss pictures here and there so I can't get a good write-up together. I don't know how you guys get so many pictures and don't get out of the workflow.

Here we have a Ferrari F430 of a customer that I do work for pretty regularly. This detail was actually done last year but I recently went to clean it up again so I thought I should post the pictures from last time. The car had not been done for quite some time and as you can see it's driven a decent amount and it was pollen season.

    Process -

Wheels, tires, wheel wheels, door jams, etc - OPC and a variety of brushes and Nomad sprayer
    ONR wash
    Clay with ONR claying dilution
    Wipe down with IPA
Polish - M205 and green Uber pad
    Wipe down with IPA
    Waxed with Fuzion
    Glass - DG Aquawax
Tire shine - honestly I can't really remember which I used on this detail
    Wheels - DG Aquawax

Engine - Wipe down with ONR, some brushes,
    Aerospace 303 Protectant

Interior was done as well but I didn't take any pictures of that. It wasn't all that bad.
    Process included
Compressed air to blow out carpets, seat seams, dash etc. - lots of cigarette ashes
Leatherique prestine clean on all leather areas
    Quick steaming of carpets
Light ONR or very light OPC diltions for plastic or carbon fiber areas.
ONR wipedown and waxed painted area directly behind driver and passenger seats.

The car was actually in the shop prior to the detail because someone keyed the hood and this is how it came back. Obviously, no good.

Sorry for the lack of pictures of the holograms after but there wasn't much light left and the rest was blocked by garage and trees. This was the best I could do. All of the issues were taken care of though.

Nice job. Did you do the entire detail without a hose? If you did, did you use the nomad sprayer to rinse the wheels after OPC?

Yes, I use the nomad sprayer to rinse the wheels, wheel wells, door jams etc. I fill the sprayer up with water and just a bit of ONR in there to aid in rinsing ability. I should also add that on dirty(ier) cars I will also lightly spray down the paint to help break down some of the dirt so I'm not ONR'ing a completely dry surface.

Looks great. I am guessing that the people who post a ton of pictures, especially pictures while they are working either have someone else take them, or they have a remote for their camera and just press a button on the remote.

I can relate to you, no one would help me and it gets you out of the work flow. If i asked anyone to take pics they would probably laugh at me.

Beautiful work... off topic comment... I can't believe the owner smokes in a F430!! Nothing against smoking but who would have ashes in a car like this?!?!?!

haha yea i know, i think its mostly when he has the top down so a least a lot of it doesn't stay in the car. and the smell too b/c it doesn't smell strong inside

Great work! Hopefully I'll have time to upload my first show and shine too. Just finished an E320, and did a one step, it was trashed, but still some swirls were left and RIDS. But the clear was hard as hell!

I just hit them with a real light shot of opc while I was doing the wheels and jams and agitated with a swissvax brush. They are some metal or like a dense plastic but I sprayed 303 on a towel and wiped over them. there's not much to them though, just wire really.
