Peace !
Here's the exact list of stuff when I first got started: Ultra Gloss 1 Gallon (From Majestic Solutions) Flash Wax 64oz (From Majestic Solutions) Optimum Opti Bond Tire Gel 32oz (From Ragshack) 12x16 Shag Rag (12 pack from Ragshack) EZ Detail Brush (From Ragshack) Sonus SFX Ultra-Fine Detailing Clay (3oz x 2 bars from Autopia) 4 in 1 Microfiber Wash Mitt (From Autopia) Grit Guard Insert (From Autopia) P21S Gel Wheel Cleaner 500ml (From Autopia) Lake Country Pads (Black, White, Orange, from Detailedimage) Porter Cable 7424 (From Tools-plus) Menzerna SIP With that said, I would replace a few things on that list that I would change: Ultra Gloss; This is the best maintenance wash I've used thus far, however the price isn't the best. I would look at the ONR (Optimum No Rinse), old formula or new doesn't really matter. Another option for this would be Duragloss 901(?) their CWC. I use that aswell as ONR and it works pretty well. Definitely not the best but for the price it's not bad. Flash Wax - This stuff is pretty good, but can be a little tricky to apply thin IMO. Depending on what color car you're looking at caring for, and what you're looking in a wax, what wax you'll want it gonna change. A good "jack of all trades" wax I like is Duragloss Aqua Wax. Easy on, and a simple wipe off. For APC/Wheel cleaners I really like Zep Citrus or Zep Purple Degreaser. Very powerful combo, and cheaper than dirt when you see how far it goes. I would also order a second grit guard. As far as pads go, I'd order more than just one of each - I often had to stop midway through the car to clean and dry my pads. There is also a new version of the PC7424 called the PC7424XP I believe. Check out the forum sponsored vendors, I didn't really shop around too much for the prices and this list is pretty old. Other than the mentioned, I think it's a pretty good starter list. Keep the questions coming!:thumb:
Check out Chemical Guys. They'll have pretty much everything you want, plus you cannot beat their prices for gallon sized products. Definitely cheaper than Mother's and just as good quality, if not better IMO. Also they have very nice microfiber towels, which I’m sure everyone on here would vouch for, at pretty low prices.
