First ever time using these chemicals and first time doing a full detail on any car. First time with a rotary polisher too. I am satisfied with the results, but I've found a few swirls left on only the hood. That's where I started polishing to begin with, so that'll have to wait for another day. CG CWG CG Grime Reaper Degreaser for engine bay (I used this on the engine bay, but I forgot to take pictures of the engine bay. It still looks a bit dirty though.) Clay Magic Fine Grade Clay Bar Clear Kote Quik Detailer Menzerna PO106FF Hitachi rotary polisher Jetseal 109 Stoner Invisible Glass Wheels CG CWG - degreaser Clay Magic Clay Bar Klasse AIO I will be putting Liquid Soveran Wax on there tomorrow. It got way too cold, foggy, and I got hungry haha. BEFORE what the hell SpecC? your car is dirty!!! After wash The swirls are very light, and it was hard to capture them with my crappy camera. I need a UV light! What my friends were doing while I was polishing After Jetseal yes this is a scratch and yes i am an idiot driver to do this That's it for the tC! Now let's see what's coming next week... :barf:
Nice job and first time with a rotary even better. What dilution did you use Grime Reaper and what was your method on the engine. I use it 4:1 (water:chemical) and it does a good job.
i used a 5:1 ratio, but I think it could've taken a 4:1 or 4.5:1 ratio. What I did with the engine bay was basically, open it up look for things I can't touch, cover them up what I couldn't touch with two dry microfiber towels and spray everything down with the 5:1 diluted grime reaper. I let it soak for about 5 minutes while I cleaned my door jambs. Thanks for the kind comments everyone! I detailed this car last week and just finished detailing my mom's E90 330i today. Will post pictures once I finish waxing.
Nice job for your 1st time..You used a rotary and some products with a learning curve..you should be proud of yourself for the results.
Definitely not a pearl white.....you mean Super White lol cause i own one. Cheers to another Scion owner.
