Im so psyched .... i finished my bachelors of information system 2004 and worked for a little bit and it was frustrating because the job wasnt rewarding so while I was working, I was taking classes on the weekend. I took all the prequisistes and applied for Nursing school. After 2 years of hardship and devotion to school, Im done and graduating and earning my associates on RN(registered Nurse). I still need to take board exam (NCLEX) and i can start working asap.. i feel so proud and this is what Im also passionate about besides cars..Taking care of sick people is so much rewarding than fixing computers...

Outstanding!!! Nice work, mate!!! Now you need to start making some cash money so you can pay for your detailing habit.
Ahh....the great feeling you get when you finish school and you get to walk up on stage with the folks looking on :graduation:. I just finished last summer myself. The fist couple of weeks after graduation just felt so relaxing, almost like its easy sailing from here on out. Of course it isn't :wall:.
Grats dude! Sadly, I'm a super senior and I have 1.5 years left to go but I definitely can't wait 'til I get out!

I understand what you mean about fixing PC not rewarding. I'm been working in the IT field for about 8 years now. I started programming website and small apps for the largest signs manufacturer (Pattison) and after 5 years I was so sick of doing it. I was looking at going back to school in a totally different field. 2-3 more years of this I would've burned out for sure but 2.5 years ago I got a job for the Government of New Brunswick - Department of Education doing tech work in schools. This was the best thing that happen to me. So much more rewarding and I feel really appreciated for what I do. I understand what you've been thru Congrats on your change of career dude, doing what you love is really important! Good luck witht the new career
Congratulations! I have a year and one semester of school left. Just sacrificed my car to be able to pay for school. reading this thread makes me feel better about it in anticipation of graduating. It makes all the sacrifice worth it.
duuuuuddeee...you'll love being a nurse... so many choices in nursing... not stuck to one thing...CONGRATULATIONS!!!!:applause::applause::applause:
Hmm, you got me thinking about doing Nursing now for some graduate studies, LoL. I swear there are so many Flips that are either engineers, nurses, or doctors, hehe. For instance, my uncle's a Gynecologist, my cousin's an Anesthesiologist , my aunt's a Civil Engineer, my other uncle is an Industrial Engineer, my dad's an Electrical Engineer, and finally, I'm a Computer Engineer undergrad. Pretty crazy stuff.
