Filthy white MK5 GTI

I love this GTI. It belongs to a friend of mine that unfortunately works too much to regularly keep it clean (don't we all!). And the fact that it's his DD and we've gotten a lot of nasty weather lately adds to the reason she's a little dirty. Anyway, he is going to be in the VW booth at the Rolex 24hr race this weekend and wanted his car cleaned up. So I did a quick two step on it and tried to shine it up. I'm happy with how the end result is.

Lots of dirt in the initial wash obviously and lots of swirls in the paint. Other than that the car is in great shape.

It was very hard to get correction shots on this color but I did the best I could.

Car looks great . What have you done to the car so far? I'm stage 2 with APR down pipe and H&R coils.

 

Love those wheels......... White wheels are super high maintenance. You should make the suggestion to have him let you dismount them, clean the barrells, clay bar them and then treat them with a nano coating, it would make life easier.

Other then that, super job

 

I completely agree. Great looking but can't imagine trying to keep em clean.

Looks very good! But like the others have said, get a nice wheel brush to you can get inside the barrels and clean them there too. Or just take them off and do it properly.
