Festool RAS115.04 Rotary

What does any one know about the Festool RAS115.04 Rotary?

I found one for a great deal and am wondering if any one has any experience or insight on it?

Jason..I'm not much help to you as I have zero experience with that unit. Just wondering though, what are you using right now? Is it broken?

 

Looks nice but research showed rpm range to be from 1500 - 4000. I like a little lower setting for jeweling. How much can you get it for?

 

Hey Rich.. I am using my 9227... It's going strong but am just getting an itch for a new machine!

Good point/observation on the speedn- Thanks... I found one for $100

 

For $100 I could get used to 1500. If its as smooth as my Flex I'd consider it.

 

I'm on the phone right now with Festool. This is a grinder. No thanks!!!

Yep, After looking at some more of the specs I passed on it

 

Man, you could do a 100% correction on an entire Cerami-clear car in 15 minutes with that animal!!!!!

the festool SHINEX RAP 150 is 750 bucks!!!! wholy shiz! 400-2100 RPM from what i was reading... but ill pass because of the price!
