Wheels were bad inside so these were removed and cleaned with Megs Wheel Brightner and P21S Wheel Gel and then protected with SV Autobahn After Paint readings were taken and all was healtly Had a hard time getting any decent pic's of the true condition of the paintwork but here's a few that I did manage to get. Every panel swirled Started out using 106fa but didnt have enough bite so went to 3.02 (SIP) with a 3m ultrafina pad worked at 1800rpm. Only one hit was required 50/50 shots Before After before After SV Cleaner Fluid Pro applied via rotary on a 3m black waffle pad worked at 1200rpm. Whole car was done then buffed off After Divine applied Thanks for Looking
WOW :druling: :druling: that vehicle looks great. Man your to modest the pictures you took of all the swirls that bad boy contained are terrible, to me you captured the swirls prity good if you ask me. But this picture, this one right here: Says it all, just look at the difference on this picture :applause: well done Jayplay, well done :applause: man if I ever go to the uK I'm coming to visit you and I'm not leaving your side, I'm going to follow you where ever you go :worship: :worship: Just curious how long did the polishing take? How hard was the paint? Oh you said you applied the SV Cleaner Fluid Pro applied via rotary on a 3m black waffle pad, isn't the black 3M waffle pad a bit stronger then the blue 3m waffle pad? Or wait I think the blue and black are both polishin pads...but I just thought the black had a bit of a better bite to it...any who what I'm trying to ask is did you notice any correction when applying the SV Cleaner Fluid?...just wondering that's all. I'm looking forward to the rest of the pictures :thumb: oooh can I make a request, do you think you could take a picture of the engine and the vents please :beg:
I know, I know :shakehead: I'm bad at that but I'm a big Ferrari lover hahahaha but hopefully soon I'll have one sitting in my garage :applause2:
I usually do follow up with 85rd or 3m ultrfina but the 3.02 finished down LSP ready which was nice enough for me so thought Id finish with Cleaner Fluid Pro oppose to just regular cleaner fluid. Also time was a issue as have to spend few hours on wheels today so thats time I couldnt spend on paintwork. Customer wants to pick car up early as possible
I spent about 7 hours polishing. Ferrari paint I find is usually soft/meduim but lately alot of the used cars have been hard as most have had a respray
Yay I got a vent picture :thumb: hey no engine picture though :scared: hahaha just teasing Jayplay :chest: Man the vehicle alone is incredable but the colour is driping off of it wow :druling: the colour looks like it's a live wow :druling: just incredable. Oh that is very impresive work on the rims too :applause2: Thank you for sharing and thank you for intertainig my request :thumb: Oh so you've been seeing some used vehicles with hard clear coat huh interesting. You wouldn't remember the paint gauge readings on the other ones you found to have hard clearcoat would you? Just wondering that's all. Thank you for sharing and your one lucky guy to detail such beatiful ladies :thumb: man you UK folkes are incredable :worship: :worship:
