Feeler, GTG in late June -mid july

In Calgary canuckistan. I'm thinking i might just make the effort to plan and get this off and running.

This would give a few of us a good chance to meet. I'll probably drive, as i'm not sure if canada has discovered planes yet.:whistle:

I was in Seattle just 6 months ago, but didn't have enough time there to visit anyone. I think that a Detail Meet would be a great way to learn tons of new stuff while having a good time.

 

i'll do my best to get it started.

I am thinking 4 nights 3 days. that would give me 2 full days there. what i will need is hotel info 3-4 choices moderate price. etc

Man I wish I had a biger house, but I do have a spare room your more then welcome to have it wile your here, it's no high end hotel but it's yours if you want it eace:

 

I think i have phil talked into it. I need to start finding dates, hotels and travel arrangements.

Let alone my passport :S


I was thinking we have everyone who fly's in pick up a rental car. And return it spotless.

It would give us excellent work platforms. If we get the INS option........ no worries about burning paint.

 

so is this something i should feel out on other forums? or is it something that is still to early in the works?

 

I was thinking keep it to detailing bliss members, Lets do a bit of leg work first. Get hotel options, travel options and some dates picked out.

The dates that work for me.

July 24th leave Seattle arrive Calgary via air. I'm booking the flight via CA.Goose airways. Rates are cheap going north, and very steep coming back. ( that and i have to wait for November)

That means i will be there Friday the 25th, Saturday the 26th for all the detailing fun we can have.

27th is the day i am planning on leaving.

PS prices from Seattle to Calgary seem to be about 350 including tax round trip.

 

What i need from members in calgary is the closest centeral area to you guys. I am looking up hotels right now.

 

hmmm...well I got my eye on a spot that I could rent for the day or two days so we can have our Calgary Detailing Meet caugh...crossroad :whistle:....

There are a bunch of hotels, I'll get you a list and post them here for you Grouse along with phone numbers and address oh and they areally close to the airport and close to the site I'll be renting for us :thumb:

Okay, I've now got a spot for our little get together. Now things are still preliminary I know but I a spot that will fit 10 vehicles inside with full washing bays :thumb:...good friend of mine was kind enough to help me out with it...you know who you are :thumb:

This place is very conviniant because it's only about a mile (for you US guys) from airport if not less then that oh and lots of hotels around it as well.
