Favourite Tape Width

    I know most if not all of you guys tape up emblems, trims, vinyl parts, etc when polishing. I just wanted to know what you favourite width is when taping parts up. I've used 3M Green 2" without any problems.

    Use American Automotive Tape

    0.75" - Badges and rubber around windows
    1.5" - Around vinyl stripes
    2.0" - Cover textured plastic

    i don.t like using anything wider than .75". I use the green 3m tape.
