Favorite Quick Detailer

I use quick detailers frequently during a detail for lubing polishing pads, cleaning door jambs pre Optimum Clear-Seal, clean wheels pre wheel sealant application.

I love Zaino Z-6 and Z-8 for paint and glass during a detail.
I also now use Chemical Guys Pro-Detailer w/carnauba post wash for my own vehicles.

I had FK1 #425 and liked it, but it froze this winter and I had to throw it away, 3 gallons in the garbage....


Any others you recommend?

 

I like ClearKote Quickshine, Adams Detail Spray, and DG 921. All three are really top notch products!

 

Why do you like these?

I like Z-6 because it leaves the finish feeling really clean. Z-8 improves the appearance of a Z-5pro application.

Pro-detailer was cheap and it works.
425 really left the finish slick, but I didn't see the anti-static properties, hence I will not buy it again.

 

Poorboys S&W is fappin' fantastic!

 

I have been using 425 for the last year and like it. I'm getting low and have mixed up some ONR in detail strength and have played with it a little..looks good so far. Don't think it has anti-static properties though.

 

Adams. Hands down. Fantastic product.

 

My favorite is CG Pro Detailer but I also use 3D Final Touch.

I am in the Poorboy's corner on this subject. S&W is my most used and trusted product.

I use Zaino products as well. Z8 is affordable since I use it to elevate a look as well as add protection. A little goes a long way. Z6 works well but without the ability to purchase in bulk I tend not to use it much if at all anymore.

I used the Finsh Care detail sprayas well as Adam's both were nice but failed to do what S&W . If I am going to switch I need to see better not the same.

 

For drying aid and aid in polish residue removal - DP four in one QD mix, I'm sure it will work for ONR QD mix
After a wash - So far it's been SUrf City Hot Rod detailer
Clay lube - same as drying aid

 

I've been using ONR mixed at QD strength, even on windows. Works great and it's dirt cheap.

 

UQD. It keeps your car cleaner. I applied it to half my hood and I can see where I applied it. Cool stuff.

 

Adam's Detail Spray, and Einszett Detail Spray, and Griot's Spray-On Wax is pretty nice stuff for after you apply wax if you have to touch stuff up---and it smells like carnauba!

but I have my own I'm making in the testing stages right now

 

For regular QDing, fk 425 and Clearkote quickshine are both really nice

For QDing with light cleaning, I like DG fast clean n shine

For claying, I like DP 4in1 mixed for clay lube, its really slick.

For drying aid, or boost the LSP, DG aquawax rocks.

My best QD's are DG 521 Marine detailer...good cleaner ..very durable...super slick...Glossy...adds protection and UV shield..acts like AW for a few weeks

Slick Mist by Lucas...cleans..super slick and durable...adds protection and UV shield..2-3 weeks also

Quickshine...super slick..nice gloss...semi durable....a wash takes it away..but still a good product...
