Friend of mine owns this car. It was his daily for quite a while and his toy when he felt the need for speed. Unfortunately he has two other toys he's restoring in his garage therefore this car sat outside with the elements. He just purchased his new daily so this old gal has to go. The car was in good shape overall just the paint was very faded, oxidized, stained, etc. I just did a wipe down and vacuum of the interior, nothing crazy. I wanted to concentrate my time on the exterior. I was eager to see how it would turn out though. Two bucket wash Clay Dried Polished with Menzerna SF (If I remember correctly) Sealed with Menzerna PL. Before pics: During pics: After pics:
nice save!... and guessing thats your s2000 which looks really nice as well... love the hard tops on them
Great turnaround! Your friend must be ecstatic... he may consider keeping it after all. (He would probably need to change the mats though...
Great turnaround. If I were the owner with little knowledge of what a good detail like this can do, I would think it needed a whole new paint job! Great save.
It wasn't anything special. I think it was the Turtle Wax metal polish that is in a green container. Pour it onto a cloth and scrub, scrub, scrub!
