I thought id share this on here since I know some might have difficulty detailing in the cold months. My wife actually found these for me. I dip my hands in cold buckets of water and dont feel a thing, I was pleasantly surprised the first time I used them. So far ive only used them on a few washes and plan on only using them for washes to keep my hands from getting cold and wet. They are actually also pretty good at keeping my hands warm when cleaning the wheels..

Not that I need them, I live in SoCal...but nice find and I am sure helpful to those in colder climates!

    Thanks!

These are great as well. Although not lined, they are 8mil thick with an 11" cuff.

Haha I use the same ones Ken. I find them way better than the typical blue nitrile gloves. I get mine at "Princess Auto". Not sure if that store exists in the US.

KMS tools up here. They are made by Watkins so should be available down there. Let me know if you can't find them and I'll hook you up. Best thing is because they are so thick, they are hard to rip. I'll use the same pair for a week sometimes. :)

In general, window cleaners neoprene gloves from e.g. Unger are excellent for washing cars in the winter months.

I just coat my hands in 845 before I start a car and don't have to bother with gloves *shrug*

Cool ideas, going to grab the Grease monkey gloves, 5 bucks seems like an easy choice. found on Amazon Bagg Arctic/Youngstown seem to be popular.

Now if only I could find something for both steamer interior usage (scolding hot water) and doing wheels/washes.

You'll find the grease monkeys very good for washing, even in cold weather.

I'll grab em at Home Depot, for $5 that's a good starting point. Some of the other gloves I found online were way expensive and didn't seem to meet the right performance level.

Then again we'll see how cold it gets compared to BC in NC.

Just got these from windows101. Build quality appears to be very good. Going to try them in the morning as its supposed to only be around 3-4C ( 40F ) out. I'll post my findings.
