What are some of the products you guys use for detailing the plastics/metals/rubbers under the hood and also what kinds of cleaners?

Can i use powerlock on my headlights? or Autoglym HD? Or do i need to use a separate product to protect my head/tail lights from fogging up and taking damage from the sun.

    As always, thanks guys :D

Under hood, use an APC/degreaser as needed, whatever you normally use will work. For coatings, Adams in and out is a GREAT aerosol spray, super easy and looks good! 303 aerospace protectant, or any other trim dressing you want and normally use. For METAL, depending on what exactly the part is, you might try polishing it with 0000 steel wool if necessary, followed by metal polish, and again, depending what it is, some LSP, probably a high-temp one, like FK1000. But I would probably just stay away from that all together.

For headlights/taillights, yes. Treat them exactly like paint. Go ahead and apply an LSP there, and choose it depending on your/the customers desire. Or just go ahead and apply PowerLock or Wolfs BW/HB... ;)
