Edge pads bought by 3M

    The title says it all, 3M now ownes edge pads. I am a little worried about pricing and distribution.

    Was this announced on 3M website or something? I'm curious as to where you found this information.

    Lets hope they will stick with the Flex adaptor, and get it to market a little faster.

    hope they keep making edge black wool pads
    I use foamed wool and foam Lake country majority of the time

    wow.... interesting to see what happens with the edge pads... might be nice to see a 3M edge style pad.

    Wow that is interesting to say the most. Im with p1et the only thing I really use from edge is the shimitts also. It will be interesting to see what direction the company takes now.

    I use edge and schmitts exclusively, wool pads and foam. I wonder is I should stock up now as well

    That's interesting...I wonder why 3M would purchase Edge? What 3M didn't like the competition? Mind you I know 3M was selling the Edge pads so I wonder if 3M decided to cut the middle man...interesting huh.

    Nica - Are you saying that 3M pads are made by EDGE? If so, I wasn't aware of this.

    maybe they just looking for another reason to raise the prices up...you know how it is...

    I never knew 3M was selling Edge products... I though both product lines were separate. I thought EDGE = Presta/Malco. Very interesting though. I tried messaging Aaron on MSN but I don't think he was at his computer.

    Oh no, sorry I should have been more specific what I mean is that I go to the 3M shop here locally and I always see the 3M shop selling the Edge pads.

    Yea, that's what I was thinking but at the same time I was thinking that 3M must pay Edge "x" amount and then 3M would have to jack the prices a bit so by 3M buying out Edge that makes sense, more profit and avoid the middle man right..but who knows just thinking and typing it lol
