Hey all, spent around 20 hours with this Imola Red E46 M3 that received a full correctional detail/interior treatment as well. The car had some pretty moderate defects and swirls, only real main concern was the 4 and a half foot long key mark that I had to fill in with touch up paint using the blob technique, let sit for 24 hours, wetsand and then polished out.

Total time to complete 20 hours

Yes.....trust me it hurt sometimes to look away from the panel when correcting and being reminded of what wheels were on the car....

    Great job, it looks AMAZING!!
The video was awesome. Would be a great marketing tool. The angles, flow of it, and editing was all top notch. It showed off the car very well, and most importantly, you. Very professional looking.

Very nice. Loved the video. Do you use ONR as prescribed or rinse it off anyways?

I miss mine. Excellent job, but the rims are poo. My opinion.
There is nothing better then that imola red fully corrected. So deep, and so nice.

One cap full per sprayer bottle- after car is rinsed and driven the 50 yards back to my garage i then spray it down with ONR, perform the clay, then wipe down with several MF towels- the blower I use to just get every bit of water out of each crack- followed up with my air compressor to go over a second time

Those wheels do not suit the car at all! The detail itself is awesome though haha.

So you just spray it on ( no bucket ), clay and wipe off, huh? Sounds efficient! Do you have any issues with water spotting since it sounds like you dry it all at the end? I just started using ONR this past winter. I used a basic top down approach but dried each section as I went a long. It takes me about an hour and a half but I'm trying to cut that time down. I have a Jet Black E92. Is that a Jet or Metallic Black E90 you have ( I'm ashamed to say I can't tell if yours is an E92 from the pic )?

Yes, I use ONR as my clay lube- I love it.
I have only used ONR for its intended use (waterless wash system) a handful of times and I learned quickly to take it slow and do one panel at a time. Also- yes i've found ONR is really fussy about staying out of the sun, dries reallll quick, so, as always I perform all my decon washes out of the sun to prevent any chance of pre-mature drying.
When using it as a clay lube, if I am outside or it is relatively hot out, then yes I will spray down a panel, clay and then wipe down just as you would with the wash system- one panel at a time. If I am inside my garage then I will go ahead and spray the whole car down- never had a problem with it drying before I had a chance to wipe it all down with a MF!

Yikes- Jet black is a ton of fun to maintain I bet- somewhere around here there is a full correctional write up on a JB E46 M3 I did that was HAMMERED.
Finally- no, that is not my E90 335- it was a clients- since I perform the majority of my work on das BMW's I just threw it up there as my avatar.
Only a junior in college so nothing to crazy yet for me- daily is a 2010 Grand Cherokee laredo
