Anyone using a Durrmaid 1600 tell me if you like it and or problems with it. What brand of solution do you use with it for Carpet and upholstery.
I don't use one, but as far as solution goes I would assume that Folex would work. Sent from my HTC Vision using Tapatalk
I have the Aztec Hot Rod which is a great machine. Similar to the Durrmaid I pre-treat with Folex, Adams Carpet and Upholstery cleaner, Zep Extractor or High Traffic cleaners. No chemicals in the machine. This works flawless for me.
rwisejr, been racking my brain out searching the net to make the right choice, I looked at the Mytee hp60 very nice machine big bucks at this point I am not doing enough biz to justify. Then the Durrmaid now I don't believe everything I read on the net, however I seen more bad than good granted some opinions go back a couple of years. So here we are now with the Aztec it will or should fit my needs and price $599.00 thedetail supplyoutlet the cheapest I seen, so using your opinion and others that I have read about this unit I purchased it. So hopefully it will be as bullet proof as mentioned and will work flawless and in my book that will make it a great machine. thanks for your input Tim...
I'm sure you will be happy as I have had mine for 3 years and it has more than paid for it self. Keep us posted on your feelings after you use it.
Just a follow up as it turns out when I googled Aztec hot rod the link I got was bad, detailsupplyoutlet doesn't sell the Aztec line anymore. That's why the price was so cheap it's couple of years old. I spoke to Deeanna I hope I spelled her name right, she explained why they stop selling Aztec they do sell Mytee which was on my shopping list. I wound up getting the Mytee lite 8070 my concern was the lift @85" Deeleena told me and I took her for her word that the 8070 for auto detailing would be more than enough. I did question about the lift because I was looking at the hp60 @137" of lift and 400 bucks north, she told me unless I was doing house carpets it was overkill. Mine mindset is bigger is better but when she said she has been selling them for over 17 years I took her advise. When I get it I will post a review of the Mytee lite 8070 Thanks Tim..........
