Looks nice David. What sealant are you applying with your pc? I've never applied sealants with my PC. Any real benefit?

These pictures are no justice man. Capri Blue on an S Class may be the best color car combination in the Mercedes line up. Nice work Dave

Great job Dave! Like Ken asked what LSP?

On a big car like that PC is the way to go to put down LSP; faster and easier on large cars.

I read your comment and had to go back as I thought it was black, ha.

faster application, more evenly spread.... I've heard some using the "heat" to make curing process go faster.

Very nice Dave! Was the image behind the blurring of the poster really that bad? My guess is that it was somewhat political. :)

I think that dsms likes using Jetseal which is quite a bit easier to apply and remove with the use of a PC. It never ceases to amaze me how just a little TLC can make a car look dramatically better.

I think someone's making assumptions, lol.

As for a PC generating heat to help cure sealants that cant happen. With an 80ppi pad, almost no pressure on speed 4 very very little if any heat is being generated, plus heat while applying the sealant wouldnt exactly equate to having it cure faster, heat possibly after applying a sealant can help gas it out, but if its solvent based it may just get streaky similar to how some sealants smear in hot temps.

My apologies for that, should have let you respond accordingly. I did say that you "liked" using Jetseal though haha. ;)

Darn, even that is an assumption!

JetSeal is just underrated, no not the best overall sealant but its user friendliness is beyond anything. On the rare occasion I use a wax, jetseal is a go to basecoat. Also as I tell lots of people LSP is just last bit of a final look, prep and correction makes the real finish. I just like different products for different paints, constantly switching it up!

Jetseal is stupid easy. That and its cure time were the main reasons why I bought it (plus a really good deal). I'm trying to get a little more longevity out of it, but haven't had a good chance to try Vertuabond properly. I'll wind up doing it over the summer probably when I get a new car.
