dsms detail - BMW 1 series winter protection-ized

    BMW 135i in for a 1 day All Surface Enhancement and Winter Protection detail.

    No paint correction performed this time, simply a full interior and exterior detail to get the car ready for winter driving, full paint correction will be done in spring.

    No time for a step by step writeup this time around, just some after shots.

    Lusso wash
    Clay
    Werkstat Prime by machine
    Menzerna Powerlock x3

    Wheels
    Rejex topped with Powerlock
    Einzett Vinyl/Rubber

    Interior
    Leather masters trio
    1Z cockpit
    Lusso Glass cleaner
    303 protectant

    Did you get a new camera recently? Photos look very professional. Makes me want to paint my wheels gunmetal.

    I hope they have rubber or cloth floormats.

    Did they powdercoat those wheels? That's not factory as far as I know; but it does look good.

    looks slick dave. photos look dang good to. I always liked the red interior on the bmw's.

    You still shooting with a . . . what was it . . . D60?

    Nope same D60 w/ kit lens. Just playing with the settings and working some funky angles :headbang:

    Uber green... hard BMW paint prime wont do much to clean up swirls but it does leave a nice gloss

    As long as I can, I think I gave the first coat about 5 hours to set up and then I did the second, the third I applied the next morning.

    Wheels were just powdercoated, they did a fantastic job as they look awesome!
