Figured I'd post this here, as ya'll would understand.... My girlfriend told me about a dream that she had the night before... She was at a school reunion of sorts, somewhere out in the sticks of Northern NJ. There was snow on the ground, it was snowing, but no snow on the vehicles. Cars parked ever which way. For some reason the organizers of this event had ordered everyone to move their cars (re-park), and that they were going to mandatorily wash everones car. She flipped out, saying that she does NOT want anyone to touch her car, they are going to swirl it all up... As we briefly discussed swirls, etc... she made the mention of recognizing swirls all over other vehicles when she is out and about. A tear came to my eye, pure joy. :headbang:
My girlfriend is always pointing out swirled and hologrammed cars, or as I like to call them, potential customers haha. While she doesn't share the same love of actual detailing like I do, its nice that she's on the same level as me. It makes me feel a little less insane.
i always wonder am i the only one mad cause the guy in front of me on the road has a black gt2 and its swirled up...like im mad at him for not taking better care of the car lmao
Thats why your girlfriend gives your car a "bubble bath" It irks me when I see the same hologrammed and swirled up 2004 Nissan Altima by my school every day! One day, I'll talk to this guy about detailing it
My Fiance isn't too crazy about detailing, but always wants a clean car for work on Monday. Says she cannot have a dirty car, though it's always dirty anyway... lol
I was in a pinch for time so I had my wife use the PC on a truck tailgate so I could focus on some problem areas. Before I knew it she did a full 3 step and would not give the PC back lol. Most of the after pics featured the tailgate icture:
LMFAO ... My wife knows I can make her car look "glossier" but she can care less about swirls or detailing ...
I feel ya buddy ... I only wash my wife's truck when she actually complains that it's dirty. As soon as I start washing it she starts complaining that I'm taking too long ... lol. I can't complain really though, she stopped using the swirl-o-matics since we got married.
