Does Every Detailer or Detail Shop Usually Do This

Hi there just wondering if every detailer or detail shop usually will offer a service of removing 3m chrome add-ons like door handles, mirrors, etc. is it pretty easy to do its similar to debadging I would assume.

 

If its aftermarket where the parts are attached on top of the OE parts, via double sided tape, then you could ask them. It is pretty simple, take some adhesive remover put it over it so the tape soaks for a bit and peal it off.

 

yes they are that kind i had those ugly fake vents on my truck before and i removed those with fishing line and then goo gone auto to remove the adhesive. But i have them on my door handles and mirrors and cant get a piece of fishing line between them.

 

Get some 3m adhesive remover and try to get it behind the fake stuff where the adhesive is and see if you can peal it off. once you do that get some on a rag and soak it for about 10-15 sec and then peal the tape off the paint and you should be good.
