    michakaveli Welcome to Detailing

For what it's worth, I love the way water beads on paint. For a simple comparison, I had washed 2 of our daily drivers, that are outside 24/7. My DD Taurus was washed with CG's CWC and only had applied 1 coat of Dodo Juice Banana Armour wax. The other DD, Corolla was washed in the same manner, and had a single thin coat of CG's M-Seal, and topped with a coat of P21S 100% Carnuaba wax.

Taurus was washed/waxed 10.23.09. The Corolla, 2 days later. Between the 2 cars, the Taurus is still beading like the day after it was applied. On the Corolla, there is very minimal degradation in the quality of the beads.
What does this mean? Whatever you want it to mean, but I figured I'd post up that the Banana Armour is still beading nice and strong.

Thinking about it, was this a fair comparison, probably not as the P21S was not bonded directly to the paint.

On a side note, I have only the P21S 100% on my garage queen, applied this past February/March, and it's still beading. When I wash it I will have to try the squeak test with a finger or two
