Do I need to detail my car before applying Dr. Colorchip?

    I would like to detail my car with DA polisher and apply some Dr. Colorchip to my chips as well. What do I need to get done in the first place?

    I would compound and polish first, then IPA wipedown, then dr colorchip, then wait till the next day to apply sealant or wax. If you dr colorchip first and then hit it with a DA you run the the risk of removing the paint from the chip.
