This vehicle was booked for a simple wash and seal. The vehicle:

    2008 Infinity G35X

This is what we were up against:

First up the wheel wells receive a healthy coat of P21S Total Auto Wash:

The rims receive a coat of P21S Gel:

Tires receive a good coat of ARO. Now to agitate the wheel wells the long handle brush was not going to fit in to the narrow space so a black ShMITT is used and scrubbed manually.

Inner rims were agitated with our EZ brush:

Face of the rims were agitated with a Swissvax brush, the tires were scrubbed with a Meg’s tire brush:

This is how all that scrubbing looks like:

Now ready to be rinsed off:

This method was done to all the wheel wells, rims and tires.

Now for the rest of the body, the two bucket method is used and the shampoo of choice is Pinnacle Shampoo:

Next the CR System is connected and the entire vehicle is given a quick rinse, the vehicle was quite dirty so the entire exterior received a healthy coat of P21S Total Auto Wash:

The entire vehicle is washed and rinsed off, first as much water as possible is removed with the help of an air compressor. Followed up with a waffle weaved micro fiber towel.

Once the entire vehicle is dried it’s now ready to receive a good coat of DG 105 applied with the help of the Polishing pal with a white pad:

Once DG 105 is applied to the body of the vehicle and the rims, it’s left to bond with the vehicle and wile the sealant is bonding, tires are dressed with Optimum Tire Gel and window’s are finished off with the help of Stoners Invisible Glass and a glass micro fiber towel.

DG 105 is removed with several Cookie Monsters micro fiber towels and now for the end results:

I had a question since you use both ARO and TAW. How do the 2 compare? Also, why not just use TAW or ARO for both wheel wells and tires, how come one for each? THanks

    Great clean up yet again.

Well to be honest in my opinion it comes down to what you like and what works for you. For me, I wont detail with out both of these products, P21S TAW and ARO. They each have there strenths and most importantly they each play a very important role in my arsenal. I mean for engine bays and wheel wells I'll always use P21S TAW for tires ARO is a very good product, is it cost effective to use both? It depends on what your personal preference is but if money is tight you can pick one and stick with it. For me I don't mind spending the extra as long as I get the results I'm after, it's worth it...to me that is, but if money is an issue make due with what you can afford and adjust your technique to fit the products you can play with.....not sure if this helps but just my personal opinion

    That thing was filthy!!

I have always been a fan of your wheel process...

Seems like you have a trend going on when you are sealing a white vehicle... I have to say I reach for the same when I am doing white paintwork..

It really makes white pop as can be illustrated by your work..nice!:thumb:

Carlos..dang was that puppy ever dirty!! Does it have the correctable clear coat? I have been reading a bit about it..I guess it needs a bit of heat to activate. I'm glad you're enjoying the 105 so much..I use it on every job I have now, and have never been disappointed. When I remove it, I use a blue Cobra Indigo blue in one hand and a cookie monster in the other to follow it. I use the same combo for AW..I like how they work together..just FYI. Nice to see you're getting some volume of work...good for you, buddy!!

Yes, it was quite dirty. As for the clear coat, I honestly don't know richy I'm assuming it does as the vehicle is a 2008 but I will be finding out very soon as in a few months it will be coming back for the Divine Detail Ambassador Detail package. I’m very curious with this new clear coat that Infinity has, sounds very interesting if you ask me.

As for DG products, yes I'm enjoying them very much. Great durability and so easy to use. As for wiping off what I do is I just use two to three Cookie Monsters to wipe the vehicle off, either that or i use a Tornado towel first then follow up with a Cookie Monster..either way it's a very user friendly product :thumb:

I'm glad I listed to you (and others) and ordered some in, now I just need to get larger containers of it :shead: :shead:
