These cars have a special place in my heart. I love unsuspectingly fast cars, especially sedans. Unfortunately this one has seen much better days and hasn't been privileged to a coat of protection in a decade, much less regular washing. The wheels and exhaust were a lost cause at this point as I needed to concentrate my efforts on the correction and especially the interior. Being silver, it was very difficult to see and take pictures of the defects and the difference after. I darkened some of the pictures to be able to distinguish better for viewing. No dings or dents but some spots here and there that were stuck in the paint and a few long scratches around the car. Some went away and others improved significantly. Exterior: Foam wash Clay bar Dried Masked off Griot's DA with orange/green/black Uber foam pads Menzerna FG400 Menzerna PowerLock Interior: Wipe down Vacuum Steam cleaner Griot's 3" DA with 1Z einszett DPC on leather seats Lexol leather conditioner 35* morning to start out! This was the clay after about a foot on the rear bumper...Those turbo cars! Scratches on the front fender: Improved: B-pillars always correct nicely: Trunk defects: Trunk was the only place I could get a halfway 50/50 shot: Taillights swirled and hazed up: Looking much better: Long scratches: 50/50 on the rear bumper...can barely see it though: Under the driver's side window: Slapped the sealant on and gave my friend's Z a quick wash! Clean up the engine a bit: Steamed and 303 Aerospace: Moving on to the interior. This is going to take a while: This was the rag after one door sill.....disgusting! Pedals before: Looking better: Moving on to the leather. This was my first attempt with the new combination I got. Pretty happy with the results. Backseats: Passenger seat: Sealant off and pulled outside to inspect: Thanks for looking!
That is some really good work. It looks like there was quite a bit of frost on the car in your first shot, what temps were you working in?
