I like it. The layout/design/navigation of it isn't typical and it's very refreshing. It looks a little more like a blog type site than full on business site. Great job! :)

In the 'showcase' tab you have "09' Legacy". If you use an abbreviated year it would be '09; but to keep the layout consistent I'd use 2009, since the other examples are 2010 etc.

One other point: my preference would be to drop the greetings you have in some sections - "Hi guys" and "Hi everyone". Seems a little too casual and 'breezy' to me, but if that's your style then keep it.
I'm using an Apple iMac and had no technical probs with your site. Hope it brings in business for you. Joe.

My business name is OCDetailing, but that domain name was taken so I decided to go with stldetailing.com for $8/yr. Also, being located in st. Louis, I figured it would be easy to remember.

Noted! I'll change the abbreviations and such. As far as the introductions, I'll have to change those to be more formal as well. I usually just copy and paste the greeting from the forums I post the write-ups on lol.

    1. Spelling mistake..... you have "door jam" should be door jamb, missing a "b"
    2. I would rearrange your navigation bar to "home" "services" "showcase" "product reviews" "contact."
    3. Get rid of "news/updates" it seems to be the same as "showcase."
    4. Header margin is too wide.

Just a suggestion but I would get a domain name closer to OCDetailing. You can get OCDetail.us and then have your current domain (STLDetailing.com) redirecting to OCDetail.us so it would not matter which way people came to your site they would still land on OCDetail.

The site looks great and is very search engine friendly! Nicely done.

who are you? where do you work? do you have a shop or mobile?

this should all be pretty obvious on the homepage IMO.

should be a business site first, blog second. this strikes me as a well put together blog. oh and theres that link all the way to the right that says 'services' so maybe i'll click that and put 2 and 2 together that you offer your services for pay.

the design looks very professional so you hit the mark there.

I didn't make the site. i am border-line retarded when it comes to any sort of web design. A close friend of mine designed and made it for me. If you'd like, I can put you in to contact with him. He does web design on the side for stupid-cheap (if not free) so he can add more of his work in to his portfolio

A few observations and comments if you will............

-it needs a dedicated home page with your business name in a more prominent position and size.
    - Services needs to be FIRST tab or at least second tab, because Its hard to tell if this is a blog or a detailing for hire website
    - some sort of FAQ, or description of you company, who you are, your history, and why I should choose you over Julio who does detailing off craigslist for 99.00
-Honestly, when I clicked the link I thought it was a site about a 2010 GTI, if you are going to have a write up on your home page have it noted sperate as a "featured job" or "featured client" but I do LIKE the concept of having that on the home page.
-the three other cars are a little much and should be under gallery or showcase
-I DO like the product reviews. it really shows you put a lot of care and thought into the products you use, also it allows the customers to get a snap shot of what products get used on their cars, you do not know how many people ask me "what do you use"

Great concept, and it is a definite testament to you detailing skills

Does your close friend work for ElegantThemes? If not I hope you didn't pay this friend too much for the design as it is clearly a hacked theme made by ElegantThemes http://www.elegantthemes.com/demo/?theme=13Floor

Just a few notes about hacked themes, is that they usually if not always contain some sort of spam/malware links or scripting written into the code as seen with the tiny "viagra" link at the bottom of your website. I would suggest finding another friend to design your website or just ElegantThemes for $39 and have access to 76 safe to use themes without any spam or malware encrypted into them.

Otherwise the content of the website is great!
