hey DB. i was wondering wuts the dilution ratio for p21s total auto wash? i wanna use it as a wax stripper before i start washing my car. is it 4:1 in those generic spraying bottles? one forth product, three forth water mixed? my second question is wut is the dilution ratio for Chemical Guys citus wash and gloss? i would like to know the ratio for removing wax and using it normally as well. my last question is wuts the dilution ratio for quick detailers? thanks detailingbliss. :thumb:

Taw does not have a dilution ratio use it straight, p21s is not sold diluted it is sold straight. I am not sure where you got the 4:1

4:1 usually means one part chemical to four parts water. It's usually how it's done in the detailing world

Taw can strip wax but there is better stuff for that like opt power clean.

Taw is very safe propably one most safe products as far as apc's go, but it is not the strongest. Biggest downfall is the price other than that it's a great product

TAW is a general use, citrus based cleaner. It is meant to uses as it is sold. It is NOT meant to be diluted at all. APCs like Optimum Power Clean are better value as they are meant to be diluted down before using. TAW is $20 for 500ml and you use it straight. Optimum Power Clean is around $40 for 4L and it dilutes down around 8:1 . Hope that helps.

is it safe to use on clear coats? do i just spray it onto the car straight up and wait 1 min before hosing it off and it will strip the old layer of wax off?

Yes taw is safe, but apc be carful with it because it can dry on the clear and will haze the surface which will have to be polished out

great. now i know its safe to work with on clear coats, ill just be careful with it. ill probably do 2 sections each time and keep it a little wet so i can watch over it carefully. then ill do the beading test to see if i need to repeat the process i guess. thx everyone for all ur help. :worship2:

As long as your not it the sun you have alot of time before the stuff will dry go ahead and spray down the car let it dwell about 5-10 minutes and rinse it off
