I was wondering how much soap and water does everyone put the foam gun

For the below I am assuming you have a Gilmour Foamaster II Quart Foam Gun w/multi-ratio dial (95QGFMR) wich has a 32 oz (quart) reservoir.

The ratio I use depends on the soap, I try to use the recommended wash dilution from the soap as the middle setting ("C" on the dial) wich is 4 oz. per gal of water flow.

So if the mix ratio is 1:32 (4:128) of reservoir solution then that means for every gallon of water that comes out of the foam gun there is 4 oz of solution. Assuming the recommended wash dilution is 1 oz of soap for every gallon of wash water then that means in 4 oz of solution I want 1 oz of soap so the dilution ratio of solution in the reservoir should be 1:3.

Based on the above math, 8 oz of soap in the reservoir, fill the rest with water, set the foam gun on "C" and foam away. Now you can adjust the dial up and down for more or less foam.

I do the same math for different soaps that have different recommended dilution ratios. Hope this helps.
