Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but is there a detailing magazine? I just got into detailing my own 5 cars and s far have really enjoyed the satisfaction ofthe finished product. It's becomea real hobby for me. Again, sorry if this was a stupid question.
No, there is not really a detailing magazine unless you get trade magazine for tunnel car washes and what not. Best bet is to hand around DB, we are a live magazine
lol. Yep. WaxIt. Don't try it. Don't buy it. It's been a ripoff to many members. I received 2 issues, but have yet to receive the one that supposedly shipped out like a week or 2 ago.
Just remember, over here, the information is more current, ever-evolving and you can always ask questions and search. This medium for information(internet) essentially replaces the need for a magazine. But then again, sometimes you just want something to read sometimes so its a good idea. I've looked at those tunnel wash magazines and they're very very brief when it comes to detailing. I've printed some of those guides that some members have written, excellent reads.
Internet is more accurate than a magazine, but maybe a magazine will create more detailing enthusiast. Or instead on a printed magazine, it can be an online magazine or an online detailing portal with news from detailing, guides, etc, not forum.
Not to mention this is the internet. You never know who's who. So many shills and people with hidden agenda's how do you know who to listen to? A magazine has articles with the authors real names. Interviews with other professionals in the industry and stuff you won't get on any online forum. There are like 2 that I know of. Professional Car Washing and Detailing Modern Car Care But just be warned that there is a lot more car wash stuff than detailing and a lot of express detailing stuff.
