    The BMW 550i you will see in this write up is a daily driven car for a customer that is on the road 7 days a week for work. It has seen quite a bit in its 8-12 months on the road.
    Take a look at what we do to prep this one for Optimum Opti Coat.

    Subject: BMW 550I
    Requirements: Prepare the paint for Optimum Opti Coat application

    Exterior

    - Wheels were prepped with Sonax Wheel Cleaner and cleaned up with various brushes
    - Tires were spritzed down with Adam’s All Purpose Cleaner and washed down
    - Wheel wells were cleaned up
    - Washed with Adam's Car Wash
    - Decon with Wolf's Decon Gel
    - Wash down and rinsed
    - Door jambs were cleaned up
    - Nano Scrub AutoScrub
    - Dried
    - Tires dressed
    - Masking
    - Paint Measurement
    - Compounds - Meguiar's M101 / Menzerna FG400
    - Final Polish - Sonax Nano Polish
    - Last step - Opti Coat
    - Inspection with Fenix, Brinkmann, and natural sunlight
    - Wheel wells were cleaned and dressed
    - Rubber and Plastics Treated
    - Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed
    - Exhaust tips cleaned
    - Windows were auto scrubed, cleaned, and sealed

    Paint Correction - Meg's M101 as well as Menzerna FG400 were used on this job, to finish it out and bring up a gloss we used Sonax Nano Polish.

    I never would have thought to spray sonax FE on the paint. :gasp: , but just as always another great looking job!

    honestly I don't remember the ratio lol, I use more M101 when needed and more fg400 when more finishing is required :thumb:

    Wolf's Decon Gel was used on the paint. Sonax FE does not work on paint.

    me either we don't use Sonax FE on paint because its not as effective. on this job we used Wolf's Decon Gel.

    I think it was 1Z einszett Anti-Insekt Bug + Tar Remover that he was using in the one shot...
