This was a detail that came from a Rennlist member, after months of going back and forth we finally got the schedule figured out and I finally got to meet this mint condition C2S (minus the paint of course, :)) so after 2 years of ownership it had seen washes and waxes and was never polished, due to time constraints and no one in the customer's area to take care of it. When I got the car I found that the paint was dull and had tons of wash marks.
So a 2 step polish was done with Menzerna PO203 with an Uber Orange and Green pad followed by Menzerna PO85RD, I finished the car with Swissvax Crystal Rock.

    Products Used:
    Exterior:
Lusso Auto Bath in the Cam Spray Foam Canon
Swissvax Paint Rubber and Optimum Instant Detail Spray and Gloss Enhancer for clay lube
    The Uber Menzerna PO203S/PO85RD Kit
    Menzerna Top Inspection

Looks great Phil. Kind of scary though to see the Boar's Hair Brush on the paint. :gasp: At least on my ultra soft Lexus cc it would swirl the heck out of it.

I believe that it won't used it on 4 cars with no issues, I get to wash a car much more efficiently with these.

A customer told me the other day I use a boar's hair brush on my skin and I never scratched it once I'm going to use this on my M3.

Very nice job. I use a boars hair brush on the seams, edges and grooves, etc. and never had a swirling, scratching issue. I think the key is lots of suds and water and light pressure. Don't think of it as scrubbing with a brush, more like lightly dusting the paint.

    Looks great Phil!

Hopefully all us DD guys that live locally can see your shop if we're able to have a meet there! I know I would pack my wallet because I would just have to buy some of the stuff after seeing it used :gasp:

I have ac in the shop so its nice and controlled now.

trust me I would love to have some people check out the place once we are fully settled.

we are getting some huge shipments in and we are pretty booked with cars but we need a couple weekends to get the shop in order and organized, if you look at the shots of the place its a mess.

Great job, Phil! Looks like 1Z Vinyl Rubber has less gloss on tires then Swissvax Pneu.
