Detailer's Domain: New Car Prep BMW 135

    This customer came to us from the 1Addicts boards. The car was picked up 48 hours prior to coming to DD. Customer requested that the dealer do nothing to the car. We performed a new car detail on this 1 series, take a look.

    What was done -
    Exterior

    - Wheels were prepped with P21S Wheel Gel and cleaned up with various brushes
    - Tires were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash and washed down
    - Wheel wells were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash and washed down
    - Wash down and rinsed
    - Door jambs were cleaned up
    - Clayed
    - Dried
    - Paint inspected and measured
    - Wheels protected with Swissvax Autobahn
    - Tires dressed with Swissvax Pneu
    - 1 Step Polish with Menzerna PO203 Power Finish
    - Inspection with Fenix, 3m Sun Gun, Infratech, and natural sunlight
    - Menzerna FMJ
    - Swissvax Divine
    - Rubber and Plastics Treated
    - Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed
    - Exhaust tips cleaned

    Interior Detail

    - All interior surfaces cleaned and protected, including glass, and all
    vinyl/plastic surfaces.
    - Carpets and upholstery vacuumed.

    great job guys! question do you know if swissvax autobahn does anything for the wheels that one of the regular waxes wouldnt do?

    Geez ... I didn't even realize this until you actually posted this ... I pretty sure this one of the few pics (maybe the only one) of Phil in this forum ... lol.

    Another proof that Phil actually tests everything that he sells online. He actually talked to me about how good powersticks really are.

    amazing work, Phil! I really enjoy those details of yours...by the way, I just tried Uber boars hair wheel brush, and Lusso Oro Shampoo, and both are fricken awesome!!! Two thumbs up!

    Thanks again for the shots and process used, very nice indeed. The one question i have is, you mentioned the windows are cleaned and sealed, sealed with ? Love that color.

    we sealed them with Menzerna FMJ, we have been doing this for some time now.

    on the windows?! explain please. makes it like rain ex? you use the machine too as i see the the un buffed compound on the windshield.

    correct the water sheets off with the fmj... i do this on my personal cars as well.

    I love FMJ its super slick...

    thanks. added to the "will try once day list" (which is now way way way to darn long. maybe i'll start sneaking up to the VW/ Toyota dealer down the street and play on their cars. )

    can last how many times wash the lusso autobath? its only 237ml lol ...

    a couple capfuls of Lusso in a 5 gallon bucket will go a far way. you don't use that much. I find that Lusso is a great wash that won't strip like all the others.
