This car belongs to a regular customer of mine. I would not have posted this again but we did apply Aquartz to the paint and glass. Not much need in terms of paint care just a complete strip down, clay, and 1 step polish with Power Finish. What we got with Aquartz was a super slick finish! I love this stuff, now we have to see how long it holds up for. What was done - Exterior - Wheels were prepped with Sonax Wheel Cleaner and cleaned up with various brushes - Tires were spritzed down with Adam’s All Purpose Cleaner and washed down - Wheel wells were cleaned up - Pre Washed with W99 - Iron Cut - Wash down and rinsed - Door jambs were cleaned up - Clayed - Dried - Tires dressed - Masking - Paint Measurement - 1 Step - Menzerna Power Finish with Uber Green Pad - Inspection with Fenix, 3m Sun Gun, Infratech, and natural sunlight - Last Step – Aquartz - Rubber and Plastics Treated - Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed - Exhaust tips cleaned - Windows were clayed, cleaned, and sealed - Jambs steam cleaned Links to products used - 1Z einszett W99 Iron Cut Adam's All Purpose Cleaner Sonax Full Effect Wheel Cleaner Uber Clay Bar Kit Menzerna Power Finish with Uber Green Pad Aquartz Adam's Super VRT Optimum Metal Polish Adam's Glass Cleaner Tools used Uber Wool Wash Mitt Uber No Name MF Towels Porter Cable 7424XP Flex PE14-2-150 Uber Buffing Pads Defelsko Paint Meter Fenix TK11 Brinkmann Kranzle Pressure Washer Cam Spray Foam Canon 2 Grit Guard Buckets with Caddies Uber Firehose Nozzle Before Sonax Wheel Cleaner in action We pre soaked the car in einszett W99 to ensure a clean surface Iron Cut was next Final Rinse Drying with the Uber Super Drying Towel Clay Insert polishing with Menzerna Power Finish - sorry no pics After shots Permission for this write up granted by the owner. CAr looks awesome phil love the pictures of the rear emblems, everything looks so perfect. PM sent on a question I had about the coatings. Thanks in advance.
power lock = sealant it will not have an abrasives in it. power finish = polish it will have a little more cut than Meg's M205 but will finish nicely.
Great work Phil. Does W99 remove old LSP? I am liking 203 more n more I use it. I have heard it fills but I honestly have not noticed
