Detailer's Domain: BMW M3 - Winter Prep

    Tons of salt (inside and out) from snow from the last few weeks.

    Exterior was a wash/clay/einszett Metallic/einszett Glanz
    (Paint Correction detail will come in the spring)

    Interior was cleaned up with einszett Deep Cleaner and Leather Care.

    What was done -
    Exterior

    - Wheels were prepped with P21S Wheel Gel and cleaned up with various brushes
    - Tires were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash and washed down
    - Wheel wells were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash and washed down
    - Wash down and rinsed with Adam's Car Wash
    - Door jambs were cleaned up
    - Clayed
    - Dried
    - Paint inspected and measured
    - Wheels protected with Swissvax Autobahn
    - Tires dressed with Swissvax Pneu
    - 1 Step Polish with Einszett Metallic
    - Inspection with Fenix, 3m Sun Gun, Infratech, and natural sunlight
    - Sealed with Menzerna FMJ
    - Rubber and Plastics Treated
    - Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed

    Interior - Cleaned/Vacuumed/Leather Treated

    is the metallic just a chemical paint cleanser or does it have any cut to it all?

    it leans towards light polish/wax, its an all in one type product.

    I would say it won't correct paint.

    Basically just a chemical polish AIO with a little bit of protection thrown in. No significant abrasives..

    it was cold but not cold enough that the water was frozen..
