Detailer's Domain: BMW M3 e90 - Paint Correction

    A 2009 BMW M3, okay no bashing the customer has absolutely no time in to keep up with this car. It sits outside and its a daily driven car. He's in the field and he lives in it. So after this full paint correction inside and out he has agreed to give us the car every Friday to upkeep it and keep it looking like this.

    Take a look.

    What was done -
    Exterior

    - Wheels were prepped with Sonax Wheel Cleaner and cleaned up with various brushes
    - Tires were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash and washed down
    - Wheel wells were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash
    - Wash down and rinsed
    - Door jambs were cleaned up
    - Clayed
    - Dried
    - Paint inspected and measured
    - Wheels were protected with Swissvax Autobahn
    - Wheel Wells were cleaned and dressed with Adam's Undercarriage Spray
    - Tires dressed with einszett Vinyl Rubber Care
    - Masking
    - 2 Step Paint correction (Meguiars M105 with an Uber Green, and Menzerna PO106FA with an Uber Blue)
    - Inspection with Fenix, 3m Sun Gun, Infratech, and natural sunlight
    - Menzerna Power Lock
    - Rubber and Plastics Treated
    - Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed
    - Exhaust tips cleaned

    Interior Detail

    - All interior surfaces cleaned and protected, including glass, and all
    vinyl/plastic surfaces.
    - Carpets and upholstery vacuumed.

    It's great to see people paying more attention to their car's finish after they experience a great correction like this one.

    I wonder how many others actually get permission for posting photos.

    lol long story on that one but that's why I put that up, I would say 9 out of 10 customers are dying for the write up but that 1 that one will be extremely upset, figured I would post it up so people know that we don't post up unless we are allowed to, I'm actually surprised more pros don't do this.

    I love the fact that people who have zero interest in keeping their cars look showroom go out and get black.

    I know he probably likes the color, but if he knows its going to get shit on all the time...then maybe go with a silver....or a white.....

    I have found BMW interiors over the years to really not hold up.
