This is one of the first cars this season for a winter prep. Our winter prep is geared towards protecting the car for the winter months. With this particular car the customer will be bringing it back to us in the spring to get a full paint correction, it has never been done and it does show. I also own a Sprint Blue S4 (hard not to love the color)! Anyway, I've been using Collinite 845 over Powerlock for my winter prep. How do you think that stands up against the Glanz Wax used above? Durability is more important to me than looks in our harsh New England winters but I have to say I am very intrigued given the stunning result shown here.
That color and car just pops. That clay looked nasty, brings up another question. Any reason to iron x before the clay and not the other way around? I don't have an iron remover, so I'm just curious.
Thanks guys! The iron cut will remove a lot of the contaminants, hence giving the clay bar less work which means less chances of marring the paint with the clay bar.
