Well everyone knows that when you do something for a profession/living you tend to forget to take care of your own things or you just don't have the time to get to it.

So thanks to mindflux and others for convincing me to pick up the Prima Car Care product line, most of you know I'm a "PURIST" in the sense that I'm not a fan of glazes.

Well I figured what a great time to try out the Prima Line up and put it to the test my own family hauler. This Q7 was washed about 4 times since we purchased it back March 2010. No true prep until this write up.

Any reason you didn't use Nero on the interior? Dash/Doorcards/etc?

Also, your thoughts on the products? How was Wheel Armor? Thats one I never hear anyone talk about.

    :)

I'm a fan of matte finishes in the interior I have only liked Sonax Dashboard Cleaner or einszett Cockpit.

I like them or I would not carry them....and I used it on my own car : )

I think that should say a lot.

Wheel Armour went on easy and went off easy, how long it will last we will see.

Looks good to me. :) I love silver!

Yes, report back on that later. It's the only product Prima has that I presently have no interest in.

How Does that Adams In&Out work, do you just spray it on a clean surface and wipe off? I always check-out your write-ups and you always seem to use it with fantastic results. I was just curious. btw Q7 looks great

    Phil,

When you did the Hydro did you just spray and wipe or did you wet the car down first?

This is what the directions say:
I guess it's more or less a wax as you dry. Though I'd be curious to see how it works on a dried car after a wash.

  18. detailersdomain

    yup just spray and wipe.

after you wash the engine and its dry you just spray on you don't wipe down anything when using In and out.
