Detailer's Domain: Audi Q5 New Car Prep

    This was a brand new Audi Q5 - of course black - less than 50 miles.

    When I get calls for new car preps....I usually cringe.

    12 hours later......

    What was done -
    Exterior

    - Wheels were prepped with Sonax Wheel Cleaner and cleaned up with various brushes
    - Tires were spritzed down with Adam's All Purpose Cleaner and washed down
    - Wheel wells were cleaned up
    - Wash down and rinsed
    - Door jambs were cleaned up
    - Clayed
    - Dried
    - Tires dressed
    - Masking
    - 2 Step Polish
    - Inspection with Fenix, 3m Sun Gun, Infratech, and natural sunlight
    - Last Step - Menzerna Power Lock
    - Rubber and Plastics Treated
    - Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed
    - Exhaust tips cleaned
    - Windows were clayed and sealed

    Interior
    -Leather Cleaned and conditioned
    -Dash and plastics cleaned
    -Vacuumed

    thanks guys.

    I love the pressure washer, its everything I needed. After using the cam spray which is a great unit, I felt I needed the options of the reel, longer hose, and the wheels. all these features make it easier for me to move it in and out of the shop. (saving time is key for me these days)

    Its smooth and quiet, a little less pressure than the cam spray but its still sufficient for what we need.

    What do you think of those HF jacks? I've been wanting to buy them but I'm afraid they have subpar quality.

    Not sure I've only had them for about a month.

    The craftsman are horrible in my mind, I have gone thru about 5 of them.

    Outstanding work as always Phil . The Kranzle looks like a great unit. but It will not fit in my trunk as the Camspray . But I can see the benefit of the reel and the wheels for you operation.
