Detailer's Domain: 1995 Black/Black 993 C2

This was a great one! Love these older 911's.

Work needed:

Wash/Clay/Paint Correction/Swissvax Treatment - Mystery
Interior done (no pics)
Engine detailed

Here are the before and afters of the engine:


(glossy yes I know I went back and wiped down the excess dressing sorry no pictures)

Its quite deceiving the before shots from afar as the car doesn't look too bad:


However here's a closer look:


Now after the wash, clay, and Menzerna Top Inspection wipe down here is what you have:

(now there is marring from the clay on the top but take a look at all the imperfections)

After shots (Swissvax Cleaner Fluid and Swissvax Mystery Applied)

 

What was used on the tires? I love that look....clean but not a streakey wet look.

What do you use to apply it? Sponge...MF?

Duratys yes wipe on wipe off, if you put too much on you wipe the excess off with the dry side of the applicator sponge.

It's funny how a vehicle from far a way will look good but when you take a closer look it reveals all it's imperfections :what:

Do you ever get overheating?

 

awesome work, I absolutely love these older porsches!!

 

no overheating at all, I did get a quick red light during the 10 hours but it only happened once and I shut the machine off for a couple sections and then went on.

 

Great work there Phil. I have to agree with everyone else in that I do love that body style!:headbang: Man that Menzerna/Swissvax combo is killer on that black!
