This was a detail done this weekend. Not much needed just cleaning up the paint from hazing and Swissvax Treament. Got some 3M Ultrafina in and decided to give it a whirl. Its been cold so we used ONR as the car was quite clean, the customer wanted a quick wash, polishing and Swissvax. Here are the tools and products used: Makita 9227 3m bumper pad (yellow) 3m blue polishing pad LC Black CCS pad 3m ultrafina Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Swissvax Mystery Adam's Glass Cleaner 3m sun gun Defelsko Positest DFT Combo Since the car was clean to begin I only took after shots. (no sun out at all so pics are not all that good)
Note: wheels were not done per the customer as he will be taking them off and doing a full clean up himself. 3m ultrafina is a final polish from 3m. Didn't dust much and has a nice finish, I still like Menzerna PO85RD better but the 3m is decent product.
Vehicle looks great Phil :thumb: love the nice, sexy curves these vehicles have. Thank you for sharing, always enjoy reading your posts :chest:
She is looking good....Awesome reflection for a light color.... I have a gallon of Adam's glass cleaner, never have used it.
That Mystery really makes the Silver pop!!! I wish my silver popped like that... And no, I'm not spending 550 for a tub of mystery...
its almost a let down compared to the black C4s but I'll take the compliments, I have a few more coming in the next couple of weeks. I will be sure to post. It was fun cause the first time in many many details have a let a customer watch (customer is an avid detailer know what he's doing) but what is funny is he couldn't believe the difference a rotary and some quality wax would get his car to another level. I'm glad I let him watch as now he should have a bigger appreciation for paint correction and the whole process.
Man thats cool. I'm just a novice. I paid a pro detailer in Memphis to do an ext detail on my car so i could watch. It was cool. Actually seeing it done is really nice. I do better learning by watching instead of reading.
The detail was just awesome, the porscha looks GREAT This 3M Ultrafina is way too expensive here and is used to "remove" holograms, i just prefer the 85rd because gives a look more crisp and sharp, just plain glass look.
