Detailer's Domain: 135i - Opti Coat Application

    I got a call from this customer requesting for paint correction and Opti Coat. Here we have an Alpine White 135i Coupe

    Some imperfections here and there but nothing too bad.

    Over the past month or so we have seen many customers requesting for coating.

    What was done -
    Exterior

    - Wheels were prepped with Sonax Wheel Cleaner and cleaned up with various brushes
    - Tires were spritzed down with Adam’s All Purpose Cleaner and washed down
    - Wheel wells were cleaned up
    - Pre Washed with W99
    - Iron Cut
    - Wash down and rinsed
    - Door jambs were cleaned up
    - Clayed
    - Dried
    - Tires dressed
    - Masking
    - Paint Measurement
    - 1 Step - Menzerna Power Finish with Uber Green Pad
    - Inspection with Fenix, 3m Sun Gun, Infratech, and natural sunlight
    - Last Step – Aquartz
    - Rubber and Plastics Treated
    - Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed
    - Exhaust tips cleaned
    - Windows were clayed, cleaned, and sealed
    - Jambs steam cleaned

    Looks great Phil:) interesting to see your using iron cut now instead of iron x is there really a difference in the chemical content?

    Excellent work Phil, clearly that car needed the Iron Cut.

    It's unreal how much dirt is released even after washing when using Iron Cut.

    Damn that white is bright awesome work. I'm still undecided between Opti Coat and C Quartz.

    or do you mean aquartz ; )

    we will have a pre sale on the Aquartz line middle of the week.

    Opti Coat is nice.

    Either way we have them and the sale is a good one.

    I thought AQ was nomore and is only CQ but I just read your other detail when you used AQ on the car.
