Requirements - New Car Prep - Opti Coat - Clear Film Installation - including Full Hood, Full Fenders, Full Bumper, Headlights, Rockers, Full Rear Bumper, Fuel Cap, Door Cups, A pillars and front of sunroof.

Sorry battery was not fully charged for some of this job hence some pretty bad shots at the beginning and midway point of this job. Enjoy!

Exterior

- Wheels were prepped with Sonax Wheel Cleaner and cleaned up with various brushes
- Tires were spritzed down with Auto Finesse Citrus
- Wheel wells were cleaned up
- Washed with 1Z einszett W99
- Auto Finesse Iron Out
- Wash down and rinsed
- Door jambs were cleaned up
- Nano Scrub AutoScrub
- Dried
- Tires dressed
- Masking
- Paint Measurement
- Sonax 3/6 Fine Abrasive Paste - Uber Green Pad - Griots Orbital
- Opti Coat
- Inspection with Fenix, 3m Sun Gun, Infratech, and natural sunlight
- Wheel wells were cleaned and dressed
- Rubber and Plastics Treated
- Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed
- Exhaust tips cleaned
- Windows were autoscrubed, cleaned, and sealed

Interesting story about the Porsche as it could have been lost during Sandy, customer called me up because his parking garage decided to raise prices again. He asked if he could store it with me and I said sure thing. Let's say his daily (BMW X5) is now gone being in an evacuation zone. He texted me on Monday and said he was so lucky that he moved it. The X5 was filled with water up to the windows!

@ Phil, did you Opti-coat the areas that you covered in the clear film too?
Does that change how well the film adheres?
Also how often does opti-coat have to be reapplied?
Do you wax on top of the opti-coat or does that completely replace wax?
